No Dishes to Wash

Yum.  Just Yum.  Pix Patisserie has 2 locations, the original at 34th and Division, and one in NoPo.  These expensive desserts rival Papa Haydn’s, but without the atmosphere. I feel like I’m in a cozy little wine bar.  Because the place is so small, I wonder if the waiters and waitresses are snooty… you know, like discouraging people hanging around.  They even have a rule, $2.50 for every person for every half hour in the evenings when they are full.  Snooty?  I’m not sure….  Our waitress was perfectly nice, and had lots of coffee and water refills at the table for us, she was on top of it. Tonight we enjoyed a few bottles of wine with our friends Gina and Joe at Cru Wine Bar.  I was planning on having a nice cultured “adult” night at Southpark downtown, because it was the first wine bar that came to mind.  But Gina said “Why don’t you go to Why Not Wine?”  I said, “Because that’s a wine store, I want to go where you can sit down and drink and have canapes.” (Feeling very adult because I knew the word canape!)
